This technology is used at longest and actually is most abroad. One of advantage is simply and also it´s cheap construction, relatively great dosage and realy simply softwarová chip operation. Scanning distance is up to coil size in transponder and detector construction. With ISO card you can reach 15 cm. Identifiers are passive R/O or R/W eventually is protected by password. Most often apliation of  RFID 125 kHz in Slovak Republic is access and attendance system. Frequency 134 kHz is dedicated for animal identification.

RFID 13,56 MHz


For more complicated applications can be used different technologies at frequency 13,56 MHz. Advantage is higher transmission speed and higher level of security. Disadvandage is usually shorter reading distance, more expensive detectors and more complicated operating. With usual detector and ISO card is possible to reach reading distance from 5 to 10 cm. Identifiers are usually passive  R/W with password or datas assurance. Often used application is elektronical wallet and other kinds of prepayment.In last few years is more often used also application of simply persons and articles without using other functions.
